Chairman: Dr Charles Shaw
Dr Charles W Shaw took over as Chairman of LCVYS in October 2012 at our last AGM. Charles is also the Director of Lincolshire Youth Association and has worked within the youth services over a period of years.
Trustee: Dan Hawbrook
Dan Hawbrook is a trustee for LCVYS and also is the E Safety Officer fro Lincolnshire Safeguarding Board (LSCB)
Trustee : Dave Rose
Dave Rose CA has supported LCVYS for many years. He is also the LCVYS Safeguarding Officer.
Vice Chair: Pete Read
Pete has 27 years secondary education experience, with senior management responsibilities. 10 years experience with “MV” and “vinvolved” as a volunteer adviser. A variety of additional experience in running residentials at home and overseas, including Duke of Edinburgh Awards.
Co Vice Chair: Helen Jones
Helen has worked for Lincolnshire YFC for 4 years as County Organiser and supported the 15 Clubs throughout Lincolnshire with Club Development, Sponsorship, Funding, Training, Competitions and Events. They are looking to develop the Youth Forum further and are excited to see what we can offer the younger members of Lincolnshire. She studied a BA (Hons) in Event Management and enjoy being able to put that into practise with the Young Farmers’.
Trustee: Maureen O’Callaghan
Maureen has over 30 years’ experience of working within the sector and represented the voluntary youth sector in a DWP workforce wellbeing project in the 1990s. She is a member of the International Stress Management association with extensive experience of undertaking stress audits. She has qualitative and quantitative research experience, working for organisations like the National Youth Agency and The Young Foundation. She is also trained in project management.
Lcvys Development Officer: Frances Porter
Frances has worked as the LCVYS Development Officer since November 2011. Previously she has worked within Children’s Services as a Family Support Worker And Connexions Personal Adviser. Frances also works as a youth and communtiy worker for Washingborough and Branston.
